Check out a recent Rich Rags ebay auction!!!

After years at acoustic rock, it was time to make the jump to hard rock. Loud, brazen, in-your-face rock. So John and Nancy from Matt and Mark joined occasional special guest John Donniacuo (JD, on guitar) and former roommate Jeff Levy (on drums) and started working up tunes, both original and covers. Jeff dragged us into the studio to record what would be an EP (extended play) tentatively called "Factory Worker". When it looked like we might lose JD we found Kacy Ross, and he was added as a sixth member. He and JD played some monster dual (duel) leads. The writing improved dramatically. Soon we were a concert band. We were good. A force to reckon with.

Over the next two years, there were breakups, make-ups and personnel changes, but we played many gigs in Tampa Bay, won contests, and managed to amass at least two CDs-worth of impressive material.

Regretfully, Rich Rags founding member John Donniacuo passed away this past fall. Here is a Link to John's Page. Those that knew him will miss him. He was a rare talent and a gentleman.

A Rich Rags release is in the works for 2005, so please keep visiting this site for an update, or get on our mailing list by sending your name, info and email address to US.

Take a brief tour, and some of our triumphs and tribulations will be known to you.
